Dwight Seoul seeks an Audio Visual Technician who has passion for the Performing Arts and with a professional background with stage lighting and sound design. The ideal candidate has a knowledge of multimedia equipment and is willing to support staff and students having either worked in an ICT department in a private sector or in an international school environment. The position requires computer networking knowledge related to theater production along with strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
– Monitoring and maintaining equipment such as microphones, projectors, speakers, lighting, lighting console, whole system(devices and equipment)
in the auditorium as the auditorium manager
– Being responsible for rehearsal schedules, routine and specific theater equipment maintenance, inventory and theater footages & storage area
management
– Maintaining school audio, video, light systems in the auditorium, broadcasting studio, drama room, music rooms as needed
– Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
– Assisting with IT related hardware setup, configuration and troubleshooting
– Liaising with vendors for purchasing ICT, audio & video equipment and inventories as well as communicating with external vendors for maintenance issues
– IT Troubleshooting and technical support related to video hardware/software, instrument, audio equipment and any technical assistance needs
(Auditorium as a priority and other classrooms as needed)
– Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
