Dwight Seoul is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated whole school librarian to join the vibrant Dwight community, which encompasses students, parents, and teachers. While the primary focus is on supporting the School and its curriculum, the ideal candidate should have the ability to fulfill our commitment to “ignite the spark of genius in every child” through literature.
Key Responsibilities:
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an international school environment.
• Create a welcome, supportive, and warm environment for library users.
• Assist teachers and students in achieving their educational objectives.
• Provide informed advice in the library on book recommendations, literature, and research methods.
• Ensure that library resources align with the philosophy and curricula of the IB Programme.
• Take leading role in organizing promotional events for the school library, including author visits, Book Week, fundraising, and promotional events, e.g., coffee mornings, the school yearbook, and extracurricular programs.
